Has anyone ever seen or tried to put a "tank Protector" on the hump?

I noticed that wearing a backpack could scratch the hump, and wondered if it would look ridiculous to put a scratch protector over the hump, - some protectors have a nice matching blend of colors.

I might try it. I would like to see a pic of one on a hump if anyone has one.
