Hey FULL, are those pics showing what you did to remove the restriction?  Is it a matter of pulling a certain wire?

Wow, 100HP.  I am not sure I would want a Busa with only 100 HP.  That would be like a color TV with only green colors.  Something is wrong with those countries, do they think accidents only happen if you go over 120MPH?
Thank God for the USA!
...have you done this your self? and it works ?

Wow! Free instant 80 hp gain. That looks like a lot better deal than a new ECU.

Can someone confirm this method? I have tried the FULL's modification info.
Look at my schematics (pulled out from the busa 08 service manual) accordingly to FULL's I pulled out the Terminal 45 and killed the primary fuel injector #4 (se schematic pic)

Can any one with some knowledge about this confirm it? Thanks :)

Looking at the pics again - it seems that he's bending the connector over - which would mean he's disconnected pin 58 which has no connection on the list - and would make perfect sense to be a custom feature for your ECU.

If deffo isn't pin 45 - as pulling Cyl 4's main injector ain't gonna get you where you need

same here in Belgium(choice :restricted 100hp bike or fullpower model which costs an extra 2500 euros): just remove the black-white wire(controls opening sec butterflies) from the ECU and vwoila...full power

check the code from your ecu (norway) and if it is the same as ours (france, Belgium) than go ahead ; pull the wire. Normally there is a label with the code on the ecu and compare it with the ecu's(nonUS,US ,canada) described in the servicemanual.

That's just plain stupid! But it's not like they manufacture it with a different motor, right? I'm assuming it's still the same 1340cc engine and associated components so it must be an ECU type fix.

And there is probably no restrictions for a 1,000 HP Bugatti.

yep, only ecu type fix and yes there are also restrictions here for the same type of car; so you can buy here the same car with different hp's (despite the same engine):the difference is the tax you pay :banghead:

100hp at the engine or wheel? That's terrible!

Wow what would be the point of selling the busa. It is like buying a horse with a bum leg.:poke:

IT works. What were to happen if they inspect your bike and see that the horse power has been set to full?

I doubt that they would be so invasive to inspect the machine to that level.. You'd have to be very specialized to even be able to detect the mod.. Besides if it is a matter of an annual inspection, just pop the thing back into the connecter for the duration.
