1750 for kameleon is not a bad price. I had my bike done in kameleon and the paint (all 3 stages) is expensive. My .02

just a little info about the Kameleon colors from HOK, that color works really well on large surfaces but for bikes it really does no justice, not trying to steer you away from that color, just what i have seen happen.

I love the hok kameleon on the busa. in person it looks amazing but pictures do absolutly no justice for kameleon bikes.

That's not THAT far off from a shop but I'm sure if you shop around you can get it done for way less than that. I had a marble fade done last year and it only cost $675 and the quality was great. He used HOK spray and cleared it several times over for a "wet" look.

The biggest problem in any HOK, or candy job is that if you have a "mishap" and a few panels or even 1 main panel gets screwed up from the crash, it is almost impossible to match after.

thats what I'm going through right now. Mine is a candy red and metallic cadilac wht. Luckily mine is broke up between wht and red.

Exactly! If you have a 2 tone broken up, well then you got a lot better chance of doing a 1 or 2 panel repaint! If not, you are screwed! Believe me, I know. That's why I like the stock colors. I sometimes push the limits on my bike and I know
I dont need the aggrevation..
