Just curious. I offered him $175. And will it work with the 2005? Also, is it worth asking for his ECM unit? I have a PCIII but I'm not sure if the default settings from the 99 allow for top end speed and better fuel mapping?

One last question, does the 22 mph gauges need a speedo healer? or will it read correctly due to the fact it's not just the gauges faces?

Sounds like a good price.

Yep, it will just plug right in and work fine; you won't need a speedohealer - the speed will be correct. The only reason you would need/want the SoH, is to correct the factory speedometer error.

If you have an '05, I would stick with your ECM. Just take it in and get it mapped...
