Just curious, I replied to the lowest milage busa poll and thought it would be interesting to see how many rear tires you guys and gals are burning up. It will show how some of us ride. Mines an 06 with 18,500 and i'm on my third rear and second front, so thats about 9000 miles on a rear.

My '09 is due for her third rear and has the second on the front - 12,380 in the garage tonight. That's what I get for buying a tire eater. The Velcro on my wallet is starting to wear out also.

At least 9 rears and at least 5 fronts. It's DOA at 36k miles now, but definately a tire eater at it's prime.

Lets see, 55K miles, average 3500 miles on a rear, thats 16 rears at $150, and 8 fronts at $100. Thats only $3200 the last 4 years.

I'm at 16,000+ and am in need of my 8th rear, 1 Oem, 4 Qualifiers, 2 PP 2CT's and getting ready to try a set of 16's. Maybe it was only 3 Qualifiers can't remember. Had to back two back flats with them. 800 miles on one before it got nailed. About a thousand on the next one before it got screwed, butt I think I did wear out two of them.

Not having real good luck with the round things bent both rims last week.

A lot. Lot count. Although since I switched to a Avon sport-touring tire, much less, only a couple sets per year. Probably 3 sets per year now. Just changed them out for the last ride 2 weeks ago. As mentioned in the other mileage thread, still a lot of other owners that ride much more than I do. 3 kids now. :)

In old days, was convinced sticky tires were best, so Bridgestone super-sport race tires 010's and 014's. Basically, I left my house twice, and by the time I got home from 2nd ride they were bald. Took a couple sets to wise up.

3 sets per year x 6 yrs would be 18 sets, or 32 busa tires.

Also keep in mind like many of us, not uncommon to have more than one bike in the garage too, so changing those too. Be nice to get one of those NoMar changers someday, but for now just doing it by hand and balancing by hand with a balancer.

15,000 miles and I'm on my 4th set, front & rear. I seem to burn them up equally. OEMs lasted about 2900, BT-021 went 5000, same for the first set of Road 2s, now about half way through the second set of Road 2s.
