How many miles on one tank?

There's not a physical reserve tank or petcock on the 'busa, only a warning light that comes on to warn you that you have about .7 of a gallon left.

I once rode for 3 whole fuggin' miles on a tank .

It was on my YZF .

Aaaaactually, no. Usually the petcock switches fuel intakes from one higher in the tank (normal) to one lower in the tank (reserve). You could run on reserve all the time, in that case, but of course you'd be SOL if you ran out.

In a sense, then the low fuel sender is like the upper intake and you could rationally call the remaining supply of fuel "reserve."

Stock engine and slip-ons. I start looking for a gas station at 200 miles wheni just cruising on a long distance ride (70-80mph). When i'm running and gunning it I start looking between 140 and 150 miles. The milage is usually when my reserve lights starts to come on.
