How is the riding position on Saddlemen seats

I'm looking at the Saddlemen Sport seat. It looks like a nice seat, and I appreciate how they design it similarly to bicycle seats with the center channel. I'm wondering if anyone has one that can comment as to the riding position it creates as compared to stock. Is it higher/lower/no different, pushed forward/farther back, etc. I don't want a seat that sits any lower than stock. If anything, it could be a tad taller. The stock seat is fairly comfortable for me. The biggest thing I dislike about it is it doesn't grip very well, and I find myself sliding around too much. This seat appeals to me as I know the microsuede material is very grippy from experience with the Sparco seats in my Vette.
