How hard would it be to remove and reinstall by just removing the springs?

Not gonna happen quite that easy. Likely looking at oil cooler and radiator depending on your patience and skill level. Bolts and maybe heat

I've already got all that off, I just wanna remove it once more real quick to the the torque on some crankcase bolts, I don't wanna have to buy new gaskets for the header

I do not think there are any "shortcuts" here...you probably already know that since you have already been thru the install process once.

Thats why the yoshi's have the "spigots" that bolt to the engine. You only install those once, then you just unhook the springs and pull the headers on and off as needed  I've had mine off multiple times, they're super easy, I love the design  ....very sweet :beerchug:
