Try not to put so much weight on your arms, wrists, and hands. Use your back and stomach muscles to help support your weight. I might get an occasional hip cramp, but that is about it.

Like was said above, You need to build up to the long rides. Longest for me on my busa is about 300 so far, no pain, totally stock except gel seat and zg double bubble. Its all good... Happy trails.......

How tall are you? Could have something to do with your riding position. Genmar risers or Helibars may help if you are shorter.

Well, since you're one of the "shorter guys" on here, do what I do...I"m 5'7" and can lay across the tank, drop my elbows along side the tank and take the pressure off of my wrists...

On long trips, I've just learned to not hold the grips so tight; it only gives you more tension in your hands and wrists, and I use the grips of my gloves to grip the throttle, letting my fingers loosen up a bit and take a break...not recommended for the twisties, but good for highway cruising...and let the clutch hand have a break every now and then by just letting go, give it a shake...

The more ride time you put in the saddle the easier it will get.....

I'm 44, 5'8" and had shoulder surgery years ago (that apparently didn't work too well). I put helibars on and the laminar lip. Still have sore traps and shoulders at the end of 200 miles. I'm getting the Tobin seat in hopes that the lower seat height will help angle me upright some and take pressure off. I'll let you know if it helps. I'm still knew to this type of bike. Been used to cruisers. Maybe I'll work up to the longer trips without as much pain.

You just need to get used to it. Anything new will feel this way at first.
