I got smoked lenses for the front but can't seem to get to that bottom screw. How did you get that screw out to replace the lenses? Do I have to remove the whole front cowl? Thanks in advance.

As fair as I know........ theirs a black panel under the front... just below the head light. That can be removed to allow you access.
I'm sure I read it on another trend somewhere.
I've just had a look to see if I khud find that tread, but I can't seem to locate it.. but there is definitely a tread on it.

Thanks guys. I took the bottom off last night and got all the way to the "right angle screw driver" step. I went to HD and got one-turn it 1/4 and I can't re-bite the screw-seems I need more clearance. If I was to take the front off-how would I do it? I am a novice to bike work in general (2yrs+), so I am taking it slow...

Thanks again for the tips and the welcome-its great to be here.

I was able to do it by loosening the front nose and removing the left mirror. I then moved the nose just enough to get at it with a long screwdriver.

The ram-air tubes get in the way......
