Moving in the next 1-2 months to Houston. Any Busa riders there? Also coming from 4300 ft of altitude and will need to remap for sure.

Any good local shops that will do a good job?

I live about 3 hrs away from Houston, I go there once in a while to the shops there. They have a couple of real good places.

All I can tell you is that you're gonna love Houston. They are gonna open a new drag racing track soon.

For all of you in Houston,

Who has ridden south on 288. Seems like the perfect road for a busa. I can't think of a road that is much easier to drive fast on, its long, straight, and well downright boring.

I am glad I never have to make that drive again

But you can go very fast.
I think 90 is normal (and there is a spot on 288 where everyone dragraces..kinda fun)

At 200 you would blow it apart like a mellon shot with 00buck. Bars probably wouldnt even move. The only thing that could f uck you up is the splattering entrails, clogging up your intake snouts and possibly obscuring your vision. Wouldnt it suck to hit one and keep it straight only to lose it cause you cant see? I have read of an aftermarket front fender for the busa that covers the entire tire and is shaped like an ax blade. 288 South to Freeport is perfect place to verify all this 200MPH BUSA kick we're talking about. pretty straight shot indeed but watch out for the speed traps, especially near Pearland (FM518).

All you Houston guys. A bunch of us bike guys from Dallas are going to the strip in Navasota this Sunday. Big Houston vs. Dallas rivalry.Should be a good time. Its pure street racing. No time slips are given on sundays, so all the sandbaggers can really let it fly without anyone knowing. Bring it on...
