If I replace OEM bulbs for HIDs from ddm tuning, can't I adjust them just like the OEM? Will it make any difference on the low beam? I hear that the HID bulbs are longer than OEM, will that change the light spread for the better or worse?

I didn't see any real difference in bulb length. It didn't hurt my light spread.

I didn't like the high beam...went with stock for the H9. My low beam works just fine without any adjustments..

With the Gen II if you put high and low HIDs in the high is pointing up when the low is adjusted properly making it pretty useless unless you're driving through tunnels a lot.

At least that's what my research showed. :beerchug:

What did you not like about the high beam?

In the woods at night it worked great but with any street lighting around the road was hard to see. Not sure why but even adjusting didn't seem to help...stock high beam with 6k low is my preference... the only thing I kinda don't like with this set up is the color difference while riding with the high on.. white road in front and yellowish road ahead.

Thats been my experience with adjusting the lights too. I put a PIAA 4K, with the blue tint, for the high beam & with the low beam (4K Phillips) adjusted properly you can barely see the high beam on the road. It sure lights up the road signs nice but I think that Suzuki should have designed the high/low lights to be individually adjusted.
