Help with LighTech block off plates...

I got a set of black mirror block off plates, Spoke to the guys at OPP Racing and after looking at part numbers from a Vortex catalog I asked if thier part number covers the gammot of GSXR models I am going to gamble and buy a set and hopefully they will work on my gen2.

I was wrong, Maybe, it seems after removing the mirrors the actual threaded holes to secure the mirrors come through the plastic maybe and 1/8th-1/4 of an inch or so. Thus the block off plates don't sit flush and wouldn't secure anything.

So am I missing something, Do the ones from Vortex have a notch opened up in the back side to factor this in or am I going to have to remove the threads and find a way to secure them from the back side also.

I knew it was going to be a slight gamble, If anybody has a picture of the backside of thier block off plate, that would be amazingly helpful.

Back side is flush, Hope I can still use these.

i just installed a set i bought from schnitz racing and they are notched so they fit flush
