I was running my 2000 Busa down the 1/4 yesterday and During the burnout something wierd happened......I had the throttle at full and the clutch let all the way out and the bike just bogged. It was just sitting at about 2000 rpm! Eventually it started spinning and guessed everything was ok. Well after i finished my run and began Downshifting, I got to neutral and noticed that my RPM's were stuck at about 6000. I checked the Choke and the Throttle sleeve and everything....Finally I tapped the Idle adjustment knob and it cut back down to normal after barely touching it...What do you think would cause that to happen? My Busa Has RS-3 Slip-On's and the FI's were mapped the day before...THANX

Lift up the tank and see if it fixes the throttle. If yes carefully reroute the cables to the right so they don't lay under the tank.

Is that a temporary problem or is that something that I need to get fixed or fix myself? I don't even know where to begin...Thanx for the replys : )
