It looks like the 5 Valve Genesis engine in super sensitive to any changes to intake and exhaust.
The dynojet instructions are quite clear about removal of float bowl vent tubes which is a bit of a pain when turbocharging.
I'm now 90% sure the over rich running is caused by the tiny amount of pressure in the float bowls forcing some extra fuel through the pilot jet(idle jet?) Dynojet recomend altering the pilot jet air corrector which is on the face of the carb but I know this does not work on turbo aplications because I've tried every size going to no real effect. The solution I'm hoping is to change the pilot jet itself and lower the needles. Stock jet is #40 for the FZR1000 and on the FZR600 it is a #30. Must be worth a go?
