hey all, I just tryed riding my busa and a couple of questions, when you push the little rod on the left side where your foot goes, down, do you release the handbrake handle on your left hand slow or fast, cause it seems this bike is very "peppy" and wants to go really fast , I fell down in my driveway trying to ride it and its heavy to. so then what do I do if I start going in first gear do I have to pull on that handle on the left hand or the right hand to make it go to the next gear? no sure, my last bike( puch moped) was alot easier to ride at the beach, there was none of that pushing and stepping and releasing,, its just so difficult. I heard these Hayabumbas have really good pick up and can be peppy on the expressway.

You might need to trailer it to a vacant parking lot and start off slowly. You really need to be a lot more acquainted with motorcycles before you try the roads. MSF course, etc.

Alright, if you are having problems getting going this is what you do

1. start bike
2. pull in left hand lever
3. push down on left foot lever till you here it click and it won't click down anymore
4. twist throttle till the bike is at full RPM and hold it
5. Release left hand lever
6. Hold on

I only posted this because you finally said it was a joke. I was unsure whether or not to post it until then....good advice you gave him...run and repeat.

Make sure someone is video taping....I'm rather curious how it turns out myself....remember step 6, though. Without that all is lost.
