help needed

my box with my valve shim felt of my hands and now all the shim is laying around, i have the following measure 262 and 282
wich one is going to intake and wich one to exaust??????

that is impossible to tell until you put them in and check clearances.. no way around it unless there is a way to measure installed height on valve stems and that "might" give you a clue as there is a .020 difference between the 2

there is now way to tell that maybe the 262 goes in the intake valve and the 282 in the exaust or vice versa?

nope, like biscuit said put them on and check clearance it all depends on that. dont worry no big deal u have to do it anyway.
