262 shims

hey guys i was doing a valve clearance check on my 2000 busa because it started to make tapping noise. I followed jinksters instructions (which by the way was great to use) and found that 6 of my shims are out of spec. I pulled the bucket off and checked the shim for the size thats currently on there. it as 262 so i contacted bikebandit and tried to order some but they do not show a 262 shim.. anyone know where i can locate some 262 shims?

Kawasaki carries them same as a zx12 or 14

silly question...but what does a 262 shim equal to? what mm? for example 92025M: SHIM,T=2.65

yep
a 265 shim is 2.65 mm
easiest way to do it is 2.60 to 2.65 is .002" of an inch
the 262 is .001"
