Guys,

I did a search on this board as well as using Deja News but could find nothing.

I have a '00 Hayabusa and am trying to install Heli Bars. The instructions state to reroute the Choke cable to the left side of the steering head by placing it between the gas tank hold-down screws. The way the instructions are written makes no sense. It would appear that I need to remove the choke cable and reconnect to route the end over to the left side of the steering head. Am I missing something here or is there an easier way?

Thanks.

Horse,

They cost $169.95 + $7.00 shipping. To be honest, the bike is fine to ride now but I'm planning on taking some longer trips and felt that the position change the bars would provide would make things a little more comfortable for my neck.

Directions are exactly correct. Disconnect the choke cable and run it on the left side of the steering head stem and the cable will run either between the front tank hold down bolts or to the left.

I agree, the directions provided by Heli are accurate. Follow them and you should have no problem relocating the choke cable. BTW, the choke "actuator" remains in the stock position, only the cable changes position.
