The original low beam headlight bulb on my '04 Busa went dead this weekend on a road trip. I pulled it and read the description on the housing -- a Phillips J324 12V/55W single-function halgoen bulb. The auto parts store in the town I stopped in (hey, it was in deep rural Wisconsin, OK?) only had Sylvania H7 bulbs. They have the same base, volts/watts rating and visually appear identical.
Only thing is, now when I flip from low to high beam, the low beam stays lit, so I basically have both a high and low beam headlight on at the same time. I honestly don't remember if it always ran this way, so is this correct or is something else going on with my headlight?
