Hayabusa.org Juliana Fund...

Just updating everyone. Funds are in order and I'm waiting for confirmation of the address I'll be sending the funds to. I'm sending a letter first to make sure the address is right and the funds are going to go to the right place. As soon as I get confirmation the funds go out. Will update again as soon as it's on the way.

Still haven't received a reply to my letter confirming the address. I may end up having to get with the reporter again and see if she can help. I had hoped they were just slow in replying but it ain't lookin' good.

Still no reply from the family... The money is still sittin' in my account. I have sent an email to the reporter from the article asking for help in getting the funds to the family.
Just wanted to update everyone so you didn't think your $$$$ went for ZX-10R mods...
Hopefully the reporter will come through with some contact info I can verify so I can get the $$$$ on the way. I hate that it's taking so long, but I'd rather delay it than to send it and them not get it at all... I just want to be able to verify that it gets to them, and not into someone else's hands. My job doesn't make me very trusting.
Will update again when I have news... Sorry for the delay, just playin' it safe with you guys' and gals' hard earned $$$$...

Ok, so I still haven't been able to confirm a mailing address or get in touch with anyone, including the reporter that covered the story so I can get the funds to Juliana's family. I'm to the point of giving up on ever getting it to them. The only option I really have is to blindly mail it to the same address I mailed the letters to and got no reply. I don't see that as being a wise thing to do, so...
Here's the deal. A fund has been started for the family of a fallen hayabusa.org member, Flying Swan. She was killed in a motorcycle crash. The fund is to help her family cover expenses associated with her passing. I think that since we have the funds from the Juliana fundraiser and it's a substantial amount we should divert it to Flying Swan's fund seeing as how I can seem to get the funds to the people we intended to send them to.
I've posted this suggestion in several other threads and only got replies from two people. Unless some of you speak up **SOON** I'm going to send the money raised here to the Flying Swan fund and put it to good use. If any of you have a problem with this for whatever reason I guess I'll just refund your donations via PayPal as my personal funds allow it. I have no intentions of misusing the funds I raised and had every intention of sending it to Juliana's family. I simply refuse to send money to an unverified recipient this day and time though.
So, speak now if you have objections to sending this money to a fallen h.org sister...

BT you have my vote to do this. If the other family is making it this hard to get the money to them then it's their loss.
