I was in Pine Top AZ over the weekend and met the nicest man there. He had recently moved there from Sedona and we had an interesting chat.
Buffalo Don, a WWII vet who had been wounded at the Battle of the bulge and was the man who sold Buffalo to the Catalina Islands here in SoCal.
He was a most interesting man, and, it is one of the few times I have allowed, and even encouraged, someone to take a picture of me with my camera.
Unfortunately, my photos were compromised in an airport scan. (More on that in another thread)
Luckily, I have a decent memory and I got to shake his hand and thank him for his service.
Here is a link to a little info about this man.
