I was in Pine Top AZ over the weekend and met the nicest man there. He had recently moved there from Sedona and we had an interesting chat.

Buffalo Don, a WWII vet who had been wounded at the Battle of the bulge and was the man who sold Buffalo to the Catalina Islands here in SoCal.
He was a most interesting man, and, it is one of the few times I have allowed, and even encouraged, someone to take a picture of me with my camera.

Unfortunately, my photos were compromised in an airport scan. (More on that in another thread)
Luckily, I have a decent memory and I got to shake his hand and thank him for his service.

Here is a link to a little info about this man.

Sucks about your pics... But congrats on your chat! Must have really been something to talk with him...

:beerchug:

That is something cool right there Bubba. Bummer about your pics, I'm sure you were quite upset, but it's a good memory you'll keep no doubt.

Cool story but it does suck about the photos. Maybe you could draw us a picture since it's etched in your memory:whistle:

Okay, here you go!

I KEEEEL YOU NOW!
