On July, 16 all speed cameras will be shut off for good. In addition, The "sneaker" vans will no longer be used for speed traps, they are all being hauled in. The contract with the state expires on the 15th and Jan Brewer, the Governor will not renew the contract............................

lol the revenue already disappeared rusheriv...

while they were bringing in money in the form of tickets..

after paying out the money to the people who ran the contracts etc etc.

they were actually down a few million dollars net...

the media likes to make public the first couple weeks of revenue because its always huge, but it falls off DRAMATICALLY once people know they are there and ends up running in the red...

either way... bout freaking time they got rid of them.... people have been fighting for that for ever...

Like I always say...speeding violations...it's not about public safety...
it's about revenue.

Save some more money...eliminate the highway patrol (works for all states btw)
HighschoolHallmonitorsRus...yeah yeah I know they work accidents too. SOoo...
Contract out to an accident response team that bills per call and files to the
insurance company at fault (state pays nothing). :cheerleader:

What else do they do, accidents and tickets...???

Or better yet, get rid of the highway patrol and hire their own Boarder Patrol...
that'll pisoff the feds even more

Great share, Ron. Thanks for that.

It means more to some of us than others!!! :beerchug:

I am glad to hear this! Never got one, but at least now I don't have to worry about getting hit by one. The state is finally giving me a birthday present. It will be a week early.

between this and the illegal immigration policy, az may be the place to move.
but on one of those cop shows, an officer stated 15 mph over the limit is felony???
did i hear wrong, or is this just a county wide law?
