tis the season folks. i was lucky enough to be on the receiving end of one, and it really does wonders for your spirits when a stranger does something nice for you, for no reason at all. pass it on this year, Lord knows there are many in need of a pat on the back, a good deed, or a well timed hug.

It really feels nice to help a stranger out when they are in need or get an unexpected help from stranger. Makes me feel humanity still exists in this nuclear, self centered world.

The other day my car (RW drive) got stuck on a slightest slope when it snowed here in WA. I was trying my best to move forward. Then a nice guy stopped and helped me. He gave hands to pick up salts from road and put under tire and then try to push it forward. Unfortunately my car still wasnt moving forward. Before I know 2-3 other people stopped, including the guy who was driving the snow clearing truck. They all pushed my car forward and finally my car moved up that tiny slope. I felt so grateful, I wanted to stop and thank every one of them personally. But I knew if I stop they have to push it up again. So I had to settle for yelling on top of my voice to thank them through my car's open window. People like these still make this world livable and enjoyable. I hope I'll also get a chance to do something nice for someone in need.

Whenever I feel like I need my fair share of good deeds, I go grocery shopping. Those little old lady's have me grabbing stuff off top shelf all the time!

The other day my wife did something really cool she heard about on the radio called the "Drive thru Difference". She asked the drive thru clerk how much the person's bill was behind her and she went ahead and paid for it and left them a little note (see below). People were calling in from all over the area saying how blessed they felt to just have a complete stranger buy their food. I think it's a nice way to renew someone's faith in humanity.

Here's the note:

it certainly did mine. i'm proud to serve for you guys. just knowing there are a few decent people left, makes the ridiculousness of what i have to deal with on the day to day seem more worth it.

I liked the drive through thing. That was great. Congrats to her:thumbsup: My girlfriend is always telling me that she has never see someone like me that will just walk up to a stranger and help them for no reason. Thats just who I am and it makes me feel good to do for others. Being in and out of foster homes all my life made me always want to do for others. I would love to be able to build a BIG HOME to take care of all the foster kids to try to give them a good life and an animal shelter to protect all the poor animals that are suffering. Maybe one day I will hit the lottery and be able to do all of that. Anyway THANKS TO ALL that lend a helping hand
