My gloves are shot after 4 yrs of use. Help me choose a new pair. Looking for something that is full length (as it has a full cuff) has to have knuckle armor and preferably under $125
I would like them to be all black or have a black/silver mix

so far I like these

I like the alpinestar sp-1 but they don't come in all black and I'm not sure how the white/black will look with black and silver

What size do you wear. I may just have your ticket if you have XXL hands?

I love my Fieldsheer Race Bullet gloves. I wore a pair of cheaper gloves for the past 5 years. NEVER AGAIN! These gloves made a world of difference. Extra protection, more padding in the palm, and really nice fit. My hands do not go to sleep from the bar-buzz anymore. Whatever you buy,........don't go cheap!!

I like the look of those bullet race gloves.

I failed to mention on the Fieldsheer Race Bullets,............the palm leather is kangaroo hide. It is very soft and supposibly,..........by weight,........the strongest leather in the world. I'm sure many other gloves probably use it,.....but I also liked the look of the gloves,.........and they match my Fieldsheer suit,.....and my 01 Black/Silver Busa

1) HELD

2) KUSHITANI

Anything else, and you just have to judge by fit, feature, and finish on an individual basis.

I use Driven race grips (knurled 360 degrees), and anything other than the Held, or Kushitanis gets destroyed at the palms. I have a pair of Alpinestar SP-2 gloves, and because of the palm construction, they are history after a year. The Alpinestars also took too long in my opinion, to break in.

I have really abused Held and Kushitanis, and they have always stood up to the task.

i have a set of held phantoms. they are the best in the industry in my opinion. check em out. pricey but worth it. very responsive glove. comfy right out of the box .. so to speak

Held & Komodo are the best I have seen. You can get last years Komodo gloves for cheap right now, check their website.

Of the ones you have listed, I'd go with the alpinestars. They are the only ones that you have listed that have ventalation throughout the whole glove. Trust me, you'll want it. All it takes is a little bit of air flow through the fingers to make a HUGE difference in the comfortability of the ride. (as far as gloves are concerned) Palm ventalation is good, but whole hand ventalation is WAY better. Right now I'm wishing that my sp-2's were vented like that cause they get HOT.

I have the alpinestar sp-1's right now. They are seeming to be a bit rough to break in. But other than that I really like them. They fit well, and offer pretty good protection. I am sure once they are broken in they will be great.

They will be. I have some sp-2's, and they were a little rough at first, but it doesn't take too long to get em broken in.
