My buddy has a 2005 Gixxxer 6 and he wants a GI Pro. They make one for his bike. Now in the 5th gear map the top speed restrictor is by-passed because the bike thinks it's always in 5th gear. Whoever he spoke to at Healtech told him he needs the Speedo Healer as well to eliminate the top speed restrictor. I smell bullshid. I think he's trying to make some extra loot of Kyle. What do you think?

He's probably talking to Norbert at HealTech (if he is in fact going directly through HealTech, and not a distributor).
Norbert has ALWAYS given me good advice, but I can't imagine why the SpeedoHealer would be required. The GIpro does the "TRE thing". Does your friend have non-standard gearing?
Not sure, but I'd be very surprised if they were trying to gouge your buddy.
