Gen 2 helibars on Gen 1 busa?

Anyone know if gen 2 helibars will work with gen 1?

Should work. I believe the bars themselves are the same diameter which is all that matters.

You may have to drill a couple small holes in the bars for the switch housing location pins.
The switch housings are different between the gen 1 and 2, so they may or may not be in the right location.
It could be insignificant, or the switches could be too close to the end of the bars and interfere with the grips.
The bar ends are also different.
An easy fix either way.

Just have to redrill the switch mounting pin holes. If I remember right the holes are about 180 degree out from one to the other, I had an extra set of gen 1 helis and just stuck them on my gen 2. And as for bar ends mine were same as I just swapped my throttlemeister from stocks right over to helis no prob. ???

Thanks for the info. Was looking on ebay and found some but they were gen 2 helis. Not sure how easy they are to drill new holes. ??? Oh well, they are a lot of new guys who bought gen 2. Maybe they can get em..
