gen 2 block swap

am interested in possibly installing gen 2 motor in gen 1 bike----i have heard throttle bodies. injectors and all electronics are not interchangeable---how about using gen 2 block with gen1 head----are the blocks interchangeable--how bout engine mounting---any help would be appreciated

The blocks are interchangeable but the Gen1 block is better if you plan on doing nitrous or a bigger bore. Engine mounting for both are the same.
