GEN 1/ GEN II stator and rotor compatible?

Can a Gen I stator and stator rotor be used for a Gen II? I know the stator engine covers are the same. Anyone know for sure?

the rotors have different spacings,16 bit vs 24-1 vs 24-2...I can sell you a gen 2 rotor and a new stator...

A post will go up soon in the wanted section but since I am getting hits here.... Does anyone have a stator and rotor for sale? I may have a rotor lined up already but doesn't hurt to have options if it falls thru.

Does anyone know if I can swap a Gen I stator and rotor assembly and put it in a Gen II? It sounds like you can not mix and match them but will a complete assembly work?
