Gear Shift Adjustment?

Just got my first pair of racing boots, and find shifting not the greatest, I assume due to the limited movement of the boots.

So I think the lever was to low, so I've adjusted it a bit higher.

Where should the lever be when riding? beside the toe? or above the boot, or below the boot?

Thanks in advance

everytime I get new boots I have to just get used to them . You should'nt have to move your shifter. I just got a pair of SIDI last month and I still miss once in a while.

I got the SIDI's as well, and now I'm used to them (but I did adjust it a bit, and it works fine now.

It was to low, and with the limited foot movement, it was hard to shift before.
