gear position sensor questions

Would a faulty gps on an 04 busa make the ecu run extremely rich in all gears and at idle? My bike is running so rich that I can turn my fuel regulator down to 20psi and it still reads a 10.2 to 1 AFR at idle. I have it at a guys shop now, but he's clueless and I heard that he blew another guys motor on the dyno and kept trying to hammer down on it. I'll pick mine up before he starts working on it.

First thing I would do is get it away from someone who does not have a clue.

Second: Does it have a power commander?? If so, unplug it and see what happens

Depending on what gear, it can do some strange things. Basically think it is in the wrong gear or neutral. None would cause that.

Use the voltage measurements so you will see the same thing the ECU sees.

Pinky from turbobikes forum told me to check the map sensor so I'll try that tomorrow. The bike has a flashed ecu and an FMU for the turbo.Thanks guys, I'll follow up with an update.Posted via Mobile Device
