You got me searching around. I was thinking I would probably just put this one in my pocket.

I had trouble at my current house attempting to program a third remote. Between car HomeLink and OEM transmitters, the third programming would wipe out one of the first two. So I do not have a solution for motorcycling unfortunately, until the opener gets upgraded.

I hooked mine into the horn button. Works a treat and the bonus is everyone knows when I'm home.. Lol..

Passing button is cruise cancel.

But yes, be a great factory option.

I butchered one of my garage door remotes and solder two very small gauge wires out of it and to my handlebars. Soldered the two wires to a micro switch and then tucked the remote behind the nose fairing right next to the headlight. I turn on my street and push the micro switch with my left thumb and by the time my front tire hits the driveway the door is open and I can pull right in.

I had bought a new 2020 BMW S1000RR. I was contact by their customer service about the bike. I suggested to them to add a garage door opener. I never heard anything back.
