TLDR:Fire damaged fuel sending unit, Can I replace the wiring coming from the base of the unit?
Alright so I had a fuel line burst causing a fire under the tank, Luckily the car behind me had an extinguisher so over all it's pretty unharmed. I was able to pull the tank and stop the fire within a minute of it starting.
The problem is that the fuel sending unit wiring is damaged at the base of the unit, so ghetto rigging/splicing isn't really possible.
