Fuel Pump wires

With a after market fuel pump in the tank should the brown plug to pump and wires get hot ?

Bigger pump, more current draw, small old wires... it’s not a good thing when the wires are getting hot.

What’s done to the bike that dictates a bigger pump?

Any auto accessory store will have electrical connectors and crimping tools ....

You’re talking about inside the connector itself?

I have brand new plugs and pins in stock. $20 shipped in the lower 48.

Any auto accessory store will have electrical connectors and crimping tools ....

They won’t have the motorcycle specific plugs and pins.

I have crimps just not that size , Boosted what type of plug and pins ? the same as Suzuki? or the same I can get off Amazon ? 4 pin waterproof ? Same plug Brown and new pins would be great

Will a “inline?” 4 pin connector work if I needed to replace the female and male of the connector which clips directly onto the fuel tank, it’s in leu of the 2 by 2 4 pin connector.
