Front fork rebuild help!!!!

I figure there are more pros here than there so I try to help him out.

I am not a bandit fork guy but it seems the part he is referring to as the tapered part goes in first. That bolts to the bottom of the leg then springs and slider is the last piece. Looks like they got out of sequence somehow.

Have him look at a micro fiche pic on a parts site, for the order of assembly,
