My bike has developed an annoying rattle in the front end. I can hear it whenever I go over rough pavement. Sounds like it's coming from inside the front fairing. Without taking everything apart, I've checked everything I can and all seems to be ok.

Any suggestions?

I had the same thing at different times. Once the panel underneath the headlight assembly did not have the push pins properly connected - easy fix.

Another time the bolt holding the front fender on had fallen out. Another easy fix, though the dealer charged $5 for the bolt and the ferrule!

Or it could be the windshield. I haven't done that one yet but I've read that if you remove it and put a layer or two of electrical tape on the front edge the rattle stops.

Hope this helps

Common complaint...It's your steering damper..
They rattle a bit over bumpy surfaces.Nothing to worry about..
