Frame slider installation

I have my lower cowlings off, and am going to install T-Rex no-cut frame sliders on my 2009 Busa.
Do I need to put a support (jack) under the engine or will the engine stay in place doing one side at a time.
thanks, Mike

it will saty in place but i still reccomend doing one side at a time and dont fully tighten any bolts untill everything is connected together:thumbsup: I have them on my 07

Thank you vigorblue. I was afraid of the engine dropping down out of alignment with the frame holes. I plan to loosen only one side at a time and replace them one at a time.

Take care not to disturb at all the hose which leads oil(left side) from crankcase to the head ......cause mine(08) untightened at the headside with a leak after a while:beerchug:

I put mine on over a year ago, and what I remember was one of the mounting bolts, felt like it was stretching prior to the click of the torque wrench so I eased off. I would use good judgement when tighning it all up.

Thanks for the word of caution. I have a Sears beam torque wrench.
I definitely don't want to snap the bolt or strip threads
