Frame covers - NOT chromed

Does anyone know of anyone who sells just raw plastic frame covers?  I'd like to find a set to paint for my bike rather than trying to paint the frame and don't want to pay $350 for chrome ones.

I was wondering of the same. Contemplating on Carbon Fiber but perhaps painted would look even better. Nice foto BTW.
