Forks question (fender conversion)

I put a gsxr 1000 fender on my gen1 busa and was wondering if I could grind and sand the tabs smooth that have to be cut off to fit the 1000 fender on. I want them to be smooth to the forks as if they were never even there.

Yeah theres a thread on 1 of these busa sites detailing the installation of a gixx fender and the guy does that very thing

I don't want mine to look like the pic I want to completely smooth that cut off piece all the way to the fork tube so it looks like it was never there. (I already did the fender swap)

That's what I'm trying to tell you... There's a thread where guys show step by step how to do the conversion and they ground off the tabs.

Why paint? Powdercoat those bad boys. Also, very nicely done!!!
