I'm putting fork springs in and i have a few ?
1. Do the Forks need to come off the bike?
2. What weight oil do i need?
3. How much oil do i need?
4. Any tips or tricks?

1. Yes
2. I used Mobil Synthetic automatic trans fluid it’s supposed to be about 8 or 9 weight. Use at you own risk.
3. About a quart and a half. Don't know for sure. Do you want a copy of the shop manual on pdf?
4. You don't really need the special tools from the stealership but I had to build something to hold the spring back, it's not like my dirt bike with a lot of room and a soft spring. I used a plate and pipe with bolts through it and held it by hand but it sucked. Next time I’m going to build a bottom plate and strap that sucker so I don’t have to wake the neighbors cursing.

MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS CLEAN! One speck of dirt can be a BIG PROBLEM!

And don’t drop them the aluminum dents real easy.

When you’re done look up jinkster’s suspension setup guide and you’ll love the change.
