Fork settings

A little off Busa , but concerning setup in general.
I found a good setup for my Busa damping with GEN2 shock and extended 4". Front is strapped for the track as i use it on normal roads ,and change of links is a snap.

Now im building a 1/4 Bike (GSXR 750 SRAD) for my wife. (small girl and the Busa is too heavy for her for general handling)
Dropped it good in the rear by new links and as it was a formerly race bike al useless stuff is removed and its equipped
with a Öhlins shok in the rear and progressive springs in the fork.

How about the fork settings ?
I can stick it nearly 2" thru the upper triple tree. This way its lowered and i think i dont need to strap it and the whole travel of the fork is kept.
It has progressive öhlins race springs.

How to set damping and rebound ?

if rebound is totaly closed it would tend to whelie as it lifts the front faster than the fork travels.
Damping soft and springs nearly without preload lets it set deep.

Some advices ?

Drop the forks thru as far as you can allowing ground clearance. You need to limit fork rebound as this is what makes the bike wheelie, not static height. I would strap it and leave about an inch or so of travel to absorb the impact of landing.
