For the list of windshields...

Got a taller windshield delivered from Poland yesterday.
The finish is awesome and it has the dimple fade from black like proper auto windshields have.

It does not have the step that contours or hugs the fairing, but the form and fit is so good that its practically seamless.

I'm lovin it.

These guys built it:

Need the snow to clear to test it properly.

Nice!

Would you mind posting a pic from the cockpit at eye level?

I’m looking for a taller screen for coverage and to see the gauges without ducking for incoming fire.

After careful consideration I have come to the conclusion that I can indeed see the clusters just fine and have undeniable proof thereof, as provided with this picture..
You are right, I can see the top of the gauges now, which I didn't with my old screen, didn't even think of that.. I am 6'1" with handlebar risers.

That windshield looks good....

Have you high speed tested it yet?

No not really, but 70-80mph cruising is way better. No wind buffeting at all. Silk smooth.
That small inch or so from the handlebars put me in the shake zone with the old windshield. This one cured it.
I have a Puig DB on mine and had a lot of buffeting and turbulence at high speeds (+160mph)

Thinking it was the windshield, I changed out to a stock one...nothing changed so therefore I put it down to my helmet and the large top vent it has......I put some tape over the top vent and tested, the buffeting and turbulence disappeared......

As I rarely if ever ride at those speeds, I just filed this information in the back of my head but when I shop for my next helmet, I'm going to search for one without this large top vent.....(my helmet is an HJC RPHA 70ST)

I have been using the Shoei X helmets for years. They cut through the air cleanly at any speed.

Ok, the drop-down internal sun visor. I had one like that once. It's nice but no doubt causes some internal design restrictions.
I like the convenience of being able to just lift the dark visor in low light conditions.....

I may look at the Shoei version of this feature when I'm out helmet shopping.....

The HJC is a good high end helmet but that top vent is a pain when it comes to buffeting.....

Just an fyi,
I got my daughter and stepson new HJC's earlier this year.
I tried them and HJC's still fit like Shoeis, so it may still be worth trying one of those again if you don't find an HJC that you like.
