Fixing a garmin streetpilot 2720 to my busa

Hi Guys,

This is my first post, so I'm still learning. Does anyone know how to fix a Garmin StreetPilot 2720 Sat Nav to the bars of a Busa? I'm going to tour Europe in April on the Busa and really want to do it without getting lost so I have bought a Garmin StreetPilot 2720 Sat Nav system but cannot see an easy way of fixing it to the Busa. The space under my d/bubble screen looks small so I think I might need a speacial fixing bracket.

Any ideas?

Hey Professor, thanks for the link and the detailed description of your Garmin fixings to the Busa.  I like the way you have kept it as low as possible, as my concern was that with lots of individual parts, the mounting would push the Garmin up too high in the way of the ignition key & possibly obscure the speedo/rev counter.  I will try to copy your design, if that's all right with you??!!

I like the Professors mod, clean and mounted low. With the RAM mounting balls you have protection from vibration (the enemy of electronics). Not so sure about some of the other methods.
