Thanks everyone for the positive comments, much appreciated. Carrying helpful bunch that you are is why I don't leave this place even not having a Hayabusa now.
Perfect as can be, bruise was my only injury if thats what you can call it as it was gone in a few days. My ego is still bruised but hell it's good to get brought down a few notches every once in awhile. Sometimes more notches down then I care to come down though.
Bike was totaled with cosmetic damage only. In my state law requires vehicles are automatically totaled if damage with labor is 65% or over what the value of the bike would be. Since my dealer gave full price on parts with labor it reached that pretty easy.
I ended up getting a decent settlement after having to argue the value of the after market parts. Not as much as I would have liked but not bad either. Ended up buying an 08 CBR 1000rr but I do plan on someday getting another Busa to go in the stable but I'm going to try a 2nd Gen next time.
