Fender eliminator help!!

Hello All..
I'm a new Busa Owner..I recently bought the fender eliminator kit from 1tail.com (competitive werkes).. I'm having a little trouble putting it together. The picture of the finished product makes me believe I need to remove a portion of the tail light to fit the the large under plate into place.. Am I correct?  Take a look at the image of the finished product. (see attachment)

I'd appreciate any help you can provide..

Cannot give you an answer, but hope you get one, that is a nice lookin' pic.

Not positive, but I think you use the OE tail light. What is removed includes the part with the reflector.
Someone will post up that knows.

I like the chop job we did on your fender better, way too many pieces with the kit they sent. We need to get some pics up.
