I ran a 16/42 combo before the turbo and I loved it. That was with a 6 '' stretch and I weigh 220lbs.

I did the 16/43 and the acceleration was great but the gas milage went from 45-50 to 30-38. Plus the top speed in 6th with tire off the ground was only just over 170 mph. (speedohealer set by GPS)

I run 16/42 and love it..awesome acceleration. I wouldn't go 16/43 or lower though, it'll make the bike to buzzy on the highway.
