Hi!

Got the busa out for a fast ride today. And after a while aprox 40-50 min of fast driving the revs didn´t drop when changing gears. When you "turn off" the gas the revs should drop, but it took about half a second before it did - making the revs go high everytime you pulled the clutch.
Strange.
Will go for a ride tomorrow. Hope this problem has dissapered
coz changing gears thru the center of the city was a pain in the ass today. Sounded like I rode a bike for the first time and didn´t drop the gas before pulling the clutch...
Anybody recon this after a fast ride?

Sounds like your throttle cable needs some adjusting or lube, possibly your throttle return spring? Just a thought... But I would handle it soon... Sticky throttle on a Busa is bad Mojo!

Under your grip is two adjusters, the last time we had to reassemble a busa that had been chromed, the mechanic tightened them too much and it was sticking. I had to go back and loosen them to allow a little movement and all was well.

Yup.. check for binding or sticking at the throttle. I'd especially lube the cables. Engine heat may be causing a VERY slight expansion of the cables inside their shrouds, causing 'em to stick.

Good Luck,
