Fall Busa Bash

Well I have to say that the Fall busa bash was more fun than I should have been legally allowed to have... (ok ignore the legally part)

Things I learned:
<ul>My riding skills are marginal at best
Scaring yourself can happen at under 30mph
Falling asleep at the fire pit can be hazardous to your health
No matter how cool your paint is, some clown will bust your cahones for a flower in the job
The cost of the trip is secondary to the cost of all the mods your bike needs to make the next ride better (springs, tires, brakes, chains, and the beer

Hey this was the most fun I have had in years, I am sorry to all you that missed this trip. The weather was perfect, the roads were wonderful and best of all, the new friends I made were unreal... (not to mention not a single busa went down all weekend).

Honestly, the people there were awesome and I learned so much about these bikes and what they mean to the owners that it was quite literally "one of those trips" that you remember for a long long time... can not wait for spring....

Just wish this could have taken a week........

Once you attend a bash, you can't wait for the next one. It will be a long winter for me waiting for the spring bash. Glad you had a fun and safe weekend.

I hope I make it back from the desert for the spring one I am due back in April.  

 We will see how that turns out king of like me getting some down time turned out less than a year and back at it. The only good thing is extra mod money.  

Yeah chicks dig the purple flowers. I am buying my wife a 600 when I come across the right deal but no doubt by next riding season.

Revolution you think you can do a white bike that looks like it ran through a purple flower patch. She wants one to match her helmet.

what I learned at the bash:
1. i am the absolutely slowest man to ever throw
his leg across a BUSA.
2. leos don't bother me on the dragon's tail cause
i'm not capable of going over 30 MPH and stay in
my lane too.
3. lowering you busa 3" looks cool but is not the
proper set-up for the twisties.
4. $140 gel seats are not any different than stock seats.
5. a 250 mile 1 way day ride is enough for me on a Hayabusa.
6. had a great time and met some wonderful people.
7. need to buy a monkey.

You forgot that you should never stand behind and on the right side of a Busa with the Megacone exhaust on it when it gets started...

Oh yeah you also learned that you are the only one that will eat anything I cook that's green and be still be smiling when you are finished with it...

Its funny how many here doubt their skills. I am one of them by the way ! We had a safe and scenic ride through what has to be, one of the most spectacular places on earth. Great riding with you all. Also, I now know how Bogus chose his handle. Funny...
