Extended swingarm and chain

Just dropped the swingarm off at the welder's today (6 inch extension). I'm trying to get all the other things in order, and wondering if I can have my chain extended or if I have to buy brand new. It's a relatively new EK 530ZZZ and I'd rather not buy a new one if I don't have to.

Thoughts?

also-make sure you have an extended brake arm bar (for holding rear caliper), extended rear brake line (4" is max you can stretch the OEM one), and Id seriously start looking at new rear suspension; I went +9" over n my shock was crap after that-switched to 1000lb. spring n new OEM shock from HPC did some adjusting and its 100,000 times better now.

Just like Big-D said,don't take a chance with your chain,also one of the board sponsors was offering a black chain at a good price,since your bike is triple black already

Thanks fellas. That's what I figured. I already knew about the support brace and the brake line, but was hoping not to throw away a relatively new stock-length 530ZZZ. Makes sense.
